The small amount of garden space not taken up by the green-house is full of fruit trees. This is also not unusual in the new world as many people have turned to growing their own foods.

Personality:
Originally a journalist for a human rights magazine. Her job has given her the gift of a silver tongue, almost able to talk her way into or out of any situation. Her hobby of repairing and maintaining her three cars from decades past has also given her an edge in scavenging from all her time spent in scrap yards as well as vehicle repair. Jess has a slightly small but well endowed frame. She usually wears grease-stained dungarees over an equally stained t-shirt when she's working on her cars. Her pursed lips scarce smile and her piercing blue eyes attract a lot of attention.
Jess is friendly but can sometimes be very sharp and unforgiving when dealing with people 'below' her or when she isn't getting her own way. And although she is a very beautiful young woman, prefers taking to bed with members of the same sex if she has a night out partying, something that has become increasingly rarer since the Terra-forming ships took off.

Living Conditions: Jessica lives alone in a large house left to her by her parents. The garage holds her three Japanese cars and her small collection of bikes and mopeds from years long gone. The garage is probably the cleanest area in the building. The house itself has several rooms, most not in use but kept tidy. There is also a basement that houses a small collection of plants grown under artificial lights. The rest of the basement is taken up with workbenches covered in electronic scraps and dismantled parts. The garden hosts a large green-house with a huge selection of crops as well as a small seed bank of excess seeds. Jess tends to sleep in the attic, converted to a room and with plenty of light. Under her pillow, a pair of short wooden sticks used to beat intruders with, she had very minor skills in martial arts but had played with the sticks often enough to know how to use them.
